A New Chapter: Returning to My Roots in Web and Brand Strategy
It’s funny how careers often move in cycles. After a rewarding period focusing on internal management, I am thrilled to share that I have stepped into a new role at Carnegie: Executive Vice President of Brand and Web Strategy.
This move represents a distinct shift from the internal management of our Creative and Web teams back to a client leadership focus. For me, this is a return to what I love most: executive consulting, strategic problem-solving, and driving industry thought leadership.
In many ways, this is a "full circle" moment. It brings me back to the hands-on strategic work that defined my 20+ years leading mStoner, but now, that work is amplified by the incredible resources and talent here at Carnegie.
My Focus for the Future
As I step into this role, my energy is directed toward three primary goals:
Solving Complex Challenges: Helping our clients navigate the increasingly complicated landscape of higher ed brand and web strategy.
Partnership Excellence: Ensuring we provide the best possible partnership experience throughout every engagement.
Thought Leadership: Generously sharing knowledge and insights to help lift up our higher education community.
Gratitude and Next Steps
I want to extend a massive thank you to the Carnegie Creative and Web teams. They are truly some of the brightest minds I’ve ever had the honor of leading. To be sure, I’ll continue to partner with them across brand, web, and creative projects — but now as colleagues, shoulder to shoulder, throughout the work-at-hand. What more could I ask for?
